With Christmas just around the corner, we would just like to send out a few reminders...
Upcoming dates for your diaries:
Saturday 23rd December 2023 - Start your Christmas festivities a few days early as we host Christmas-themed drinks at Belfairs Sports and Social Club, starting from 7pm. All members are welcome, and please feel free to bring friends and family! There will be a prize for the most ridiculous Christmas jumper/outfit, so please dress as festive as you possibly can!
Sunday 7th January 2024 - The Eastwood CC AGM ahead of the 2024 season will be held on this date from 15:30. If we get enough numbers there is also the possibility of a curry afterwards. There will be a number of posts available for the 2024 season. If you would like to put your name forward for any of these positions, or would like to recommend anyone, please contact a member of the Committee before this date.
Monday 8th January 2024 - Indoor nets will begin, with the youth section starting at 18:30 and adults from 19:30. Nets will continue each Monday evening leading up to the season, apart from during school and public holidays.
100 Club Winners - November 2023
1st - Simon Cooper - £68.75
2nd - Ryan Creasey - £41.25
3rd - Sean Worrall - £27.50
The 100 Club is a lottery with monthly prizes for the three numbers drawn. Numbers cost £5 each per draw and members can have as many numbers as they like. December is the perfect time to sign up for the lottery as all prizes will be doubled this month! The more numbers in the draw means greater prize money! 50% of all profits will be reinvested back into the club to help fund various facilities and projects. Please contact Steve Huckstepp (07825 059673) urgently if you would like to sign up to the lottery ahead of the December draw!
Eastwood CC Play-Cricket Website
The League have requested for the 2024 season, all members and results will need to be uploaded to Play-Cricket to ensure all scorecards and results are correct. Please can we ask that ALL MEMBERS register themselves as soon as possible on our Eastwood CC Play-Cricket website. A guide on how to sign up can be found here. If you have registered in the past then please ensure you are able to login, as we will soon be transferring all of our data across to this website. Please also ensure you have updated your date of birth, address, contact number(s) and emergency contact details. If you have any questions please contact a member of the Committee as soon as possible.
