Crouch Vale Brewery (South Woodham Ferrers)

Brewers Gold (abv 4.0%) - Supreme Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival 2005 and 2006, this multi-award-winning beer is pale, refreshing and extravagantly hoppy with gorgeous aromas of tropical fruits. Brewed with 100% extra-pale English barley malt and flavoured with heaps of choicest Brewers Gold hops, sourced with care from small-scale growers in the Hallertau. Allergen information – contains barley.

Yakima Gold (abv 4.2%) - Very pale with delicious (and outrageously expensive!) US Amarillo hops, which are earthily aromatic and the beer, highly drinkable. Yakima Valley is the area of Washington State in which the hops are grown. pron: YAK’-i-maw. Much revered. Allergen information – contains barley. Bronze medal – Champion Bottled Beer of Great Britain 2016.

Georges Brewery (Great Wakering)

Wallasea Wench (abv 3.6%) - Pale copper, lightly hopped, easy drinking session beer. The name started as a bit of a joke from Hillary Hunter, manager of Wallasea’s Wild Coast project and the name and the beer stuck. Cheers Hillary.

Cockleboats Best Bitter (abv 4.0%) - Deep copper colour, brewed using 5 Malts including some German.  2 American hop varieties make this a palate filling session ale that goes really well on the front at Leigh-on-sea with a pint of Leigh’s own cockles.

Mighty Oak Brewery (Maldon)

Captain Bob (abv 3.8%) - Silver Champion Bitter of Great Britain 2015, Champion Bitter of East Anglia 2015. Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Northdown. Malts: Maris Otter Pale, Crystal, Black .
A traditional deep amber coloured bitter brewed with Nelson Sauvin hop from New Zealand. The aroma is fruity and hoppy and on the palate; there is a slightly sweet maltiness that balances an easy going bitterness that is followed by hints of gooseberry, elderflower and grape in the finish.

Maldon Gold (abv 3.8%) - Silver Award Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2007, Champion Golden Ale of Britain 2007. Hops: First Gold, Mount Hood, Cascade. Malts: Maris Otter Pale.
Brewed using only Maris Otter pale malt for a light golden ale with biscuity malt flavours. Mount Hood and First Gold hops give a distinctive citrus character along with a long dry bitter finish.

Sandy Bay (abv 4 %) - rich golden. Malts: Maris Otter; Vienna. Hops: Mount Hood (US); Summit (US). A golden and biscuity ale, well hopped, with flavours of pink grapefruit and orange, and a lingering herbal aftertaste.

Old Man & The Sea (abv 4.1%) - Malts: Maris Otter; flaked and roast barley; oat. Hops: First Gold (UK); Cascade (US). This full-bodied, creamy stout with espresso coffee and dark, bitter chocolate flavours from the roasted barley, flaked barley and oat malts.
