Just like an Ashes squad, may I congratulate you in being named on the Eastwood CC tour for 2018.
This year we have newbies and some drop outs.....Some of you will need to discover your bowling arm. I am in training off my full run!
Plan of Action.
This year there is no mini bus, mainly due to no one having the guts to follow in Boycey's driving gloves. Therefore, please can you let me know if you will be driving. I will arrange for you to receive fuel money. Both games are fairly local to Reading. The hotel is in the centre - beware of the bus lanes as they have CCTV fines being dished out. There is a small car park to the rear.
Friday 7th September:
Please meet in the hotel reception at 15:15pm, Novotel Reading Centre, RG1 1DP to check in. I will arriving from work so open to anyone else arranging a suitable pub lunch on route.
Leave Hotel at 15:45 for walk (25 min) or taxi to Reload Laser Clay Pigeon shooting were we are booking in for 90 mins. Beer can be purchased on site.
Return to hotel before leaving at 18:55 for a 5 minute walk to Zerodegrees bar where we are booking in for food.... and drink!
Saturday:
GAME DAY vs Waltham St Lawrence 1pm start. Approx 25 min drive.
Pub Crawl of Reading - Mr Wade to advise on public houses
Sunday:
GAME DAY: vs Bradfield CC approx. 30 min drive followed by Curry
Monday: Home or work.....
Please can you let me know if your will be driving or need a lift?
Also if you do not want to play on the Saturday or Sunday so I can manage the sides.
