Hi all,
In preparation for 2023 season please read the following:
1) Please pay your subscription fee asap if you are planning on playing in 2023. It would be great if everyone could be paid up by end of April 2023.
Note we will be looking to give priority to paid up members on selection and this will also allow the Committee to plan potential extra fixtures accordingly.
Alternatively if you wish to stop receiving club communications please let us know and we can remove you.
2) Also please can you update your profiles on the website to ensure your contact details are correct and your emergency contact details are filled out.
It can not be stressed how important this is for the Committee in the event of an emergency - this is for everyone's safety.
3) Club kit:
We have a limited selection of playing kit left over from last year's order. Mainly shirts and cap - details on club site.
If you are looking for playing kit or leisure clothing for the coming season please email Rob: robpalmer1960@icloud.com with requirements as soon as possible.
4) Club 100 - if we could ask all members to look at the potential of joining the club lottery. This will increase investment in club and mean bigger prizes for the winners!
It is currently bring in around £120 a month to the club which is helping to invest in new stumps, umpire jackets, a shipping container to help with storage (think scoreboard!!) and allowed us to advertise the club.
But we'd like to do more and this money gives us a real chance of improving the club for everyone...

5) Our first round of friendlies are organised - please start to make notes in your diaries and get ready to mark you availability on the website.
22nd away at Benfleet and away at Leigh
29th away at Rayleigh 4th and an inter club friendly
For new members who might not know how to do mark your availability on website please ask any of the Committee or existing members. Everyone will be happy to walk you through the process. We were all new once upon a time!
League season starts on 6th of May - fixtures will made available soon.
6) Club Day will be Sunday the 23rd April - if people are willing to help out please let yourself known to a Committee member. The more people the quicker we can get everything done!
