Outstanding points from previous meeting (24th July 2012)
|
- Clubhouse banner. PH arranged with Pete Karaiskos to fix to clubhouse – Banner is still up and item closed
- Outstanding debts – see below
- Club kit – Still have some to sell. New orders will be taken for order at end of Feb.
- Grant cheque received – Item closed
- Clubhouse Extension – see below
- Sportsmanship table – KR to have an informal chat with members of the social club with regard to comments from the balcony during games. GF to add signs for the 2013 season to the area. Committee to review again in May.

Indoor Nets
|
Costs and times will be the same as last year. GF to sent email to senior section and put on Facebook. IR also to contact local papers. Bowling machine currently in KR’s office and he will bring after a few weeks. Coaches all in place for current numbers

IR to contact local papers. GF to update Facebook and ask Facebook friends to share.

Cricket Force day
|
Club has signed up. Date suggested by us will be 20th April. GF to update information on ECB website. GF to check that club free, if not will have to be 27th April. GF to advertise for help. Tasks to be reviewed in next meeting.

Sunday Cricket
|
Still not enough members. No fixtures arranged.
|
|
AGM
|
All current members willing to stand. GF to send invites via website and Facebook. KR to contact known other people who do not receive emails.
|
|
Social functions
|
Social committee to meet to discuss early season quiz night/social function. Presentation night raised a small amount of money for the club. Agreed date of Friday 4th October to be looked into at same venue.

Tour
|
All arranged – KR to book mini bus. Ongoing, book when numbers confirmed.
|
|
Cricket week
|
Fixtures for cricket week agreed. Same fixtures as last season with Chairman’s XI vs. Secretary XI 30 over game on the Thursday. Curry night for the Monday night and other ideas to be thought of for social functions of other evenings.

Cycle fundraising ride
|
Agreed it should leave on the Thursday. Sponsorship to be shared 50/50 with Haven hospice. AW to contact friend at Havens to raise with them. GF to book hotels in May once final numbers agreed.

Outdoor nets
|
GF to contact SBC to start prep work to aim of using in May poss. Sunday afternoons in April if weather permits

Game vs St Johns
|
GF emailed PC Alex Bossom at Essex police. We must dial 101 if we have anymore instances. Essex police to monitor during start of the season.

Outstanding debts / Treasurers report
|
GF & TH agreed payment plan with one member to clear debts before May. NM and TH to meet to review current outstanding debts. Overall club is down £1,100 on this time last season but not as bad as feared. NM. KR and TH to review missing match sheets.

League update
|
Six places in league this season. 4th XI re elected with other clubs. New balls both innings all divisions. Week 15-18 to start at 1pm

BSSC update
|
No meetings since October.
|
|
Clubhouse extension
|
KR to raise with BSSC in Q4 2012. No meetings since October. IR to attend next meeting and arrange working committee with other clubs. GF and KR to sit from cricket club with IR as chair.

COB
|
TH – We will not renew membership of CCC or print fixture cards, saving of £250. Look into producing large poster for clubhouse of fixtures.
DH – heard possibility of football club receiving grant for drainage of rec. This could mean that pitch 1 can not be used for 1 season. Committee can not see much benefit to cricket club and if official request received we would not agree. Football club would have to do work during football season.
NM/KR – Issues of mailbox. NM to reply to youths only and use folders. We will cc each other in so prompt replies to all.
