The Eastwood CC 2015 tour will take place in Salisbury from the Friday 4th September to Monday 7th September. We will stay in The King’s Head, a JD Wetherspoon hotel in Salisbury town centre. It features a large beer garden and is situated next to the river.
We will play three games, a T20 vs. Bradfield CC (Southend) on route on the Friday. This will be a rematch of the now famous “Village cricket fail”. I will arrange a pub lunch beforehand so we have a suitable pre match meal.
Saturday we will visit Joe Cunningham’s club (son of Alex and former member of Eastwood CC), Winterbourne CC and Sunday’s game is against Damerham CC. You may note that only one of these fixtures is in the county of Wiltshire, but when do I ever arrange a fixture in the county we are staying!
