Eastwood Cricket Club News story

2024 finally underway, Subscriptions, Availability, Kit Orders, 100 Club result and Cricket Week

07 May 2024

Hi all,

Seems a long time coming but the 2024 season is finally underway as of this Saturday gone with wins for the 2s and 4s… I know some members were confused as to why the 1s and 3s games were cancelled so early, especially waking up to sunshine on Saturday morning, but the decision was taken by the respective councils. Due to the contestant rain fall neither Southend, nor Chelmsford could prepare the wickets. Apologies for those who missed out and I hope this clarifies matters.

Please take time to read the write of Saturday matches by Brian Jeeves - A solid start by Eastwood XI's (yellowad.co.uk) – including a hat trick on debut in the 4s…
