Cricket Week
It was agreed that we would arrange a Curry night on the Monday with the game v Mallards. DF is to speak with Paul Heath and Doug to see if Mallards would be prepared to stay up the club after the game for drinks and curry. RA is going to contact Leigh Tandoori
A 20/20 game between under 18’s and over 18’s is to be organised for the Wednesday along with the normal fixture for that day. It will be a 6pm start hopefully allowing people who can’t get time off work in the day a chance to play plus a few more members up the club in the evening. KR to book a second wicket for the day
On Friday we will have a BBQ night with some music up the club. Commitee to ask Trevor Harp if he would be prepared to organise BBQ and check if Adam is available to play.
6 a-side Tournament
MD is organising again date is 29th August and more information will be out during the season
Cricket Force
We will not be running any evening event. KR has made a full list of jobs to do, it was felt the day should start from 9am and more people will be able to give up some time in the morning rather than the afternoon
Summer Party
It has been decided that we will organise a mid season summer party on Saturday 9th July. We will have a BBQ, Live Music and a DJ. Once again we will ask Trevor about the BBQ and Adam and DF will ask John Harmon if he can DJ.
Presentation Night
Friday 30th September – it has been decided to try and make this a special event that members can bring family and partners too. Therefore a dinner and dance is to be organised. DF is going to source a venue and MD is going to contact Essex CC to get a player at the event.

Quiz Night – Went well and be good to get another date booked in during the season. KR to arrange

In order to try and speed things along with the purchase of a new TV for the club MD is going to speak to some suppliers with the option of them donating a TV to us in return of sponsorship
