DISCUSSION / ACTIONS

Outstanding points from previous meeting (09/01/2013)

Club kit – Still some items to sell. GF to pass KR forms for orders. Since meeting GF has set up club shop. NM has added to website.

Sportsmanship table – KR to have informal chat with members of the social club with regard to comments from the balcony during games. GF to add signs for the 2013 season to the area. Committee to review again in May.

Indoor nets – Ongoing till the end of April.

New Members – IR contacted papers to add ‘Players wanted’ advert. GF to update Facebook and ask followers to share.

Sunday Cricket. John Harmon approached club about fixtures vs Golden Lion. NM to investigate perhaps under 16’s?

Cricket Force day

Arrange once weather improves. Sight Screens need repair. Possible date before first Saturday home fixtures?   

Social functions and fundraising

RA to arrange poker night for 11 May after the days games. £5 entry. To promote with football and hockey clubs.

Quiz night mentioned for end of 31^st may. RA to confirm if club free and approach DF to MC.

Franchise Cricket. KR seen link, IR to investigate.

100 Club. TH looking to set up. Awaiting information re licences from council.

Other possible ideas include sports league and race night.

Outstanding debts / Treasurers report

Review of outstanding debts. Agreed to write off a number of outstanding debts. TH to chase reminding. Still no payment from large debtor that we have agreement with.

Clubhouse extension/ BSSC update

IR provided update. First meeting of subcommittee. Meeting with council with regard to ideas. Number of ideas for improvement raised by committee to KR and IR. Football club advised that they have funding for drainage and this will be discussed with council
